Continually search for the best

We had a lovely day driving along in the mountains of southern Kyushu. Later in the day we decided to have dinner in Miyazaki. I went to the Internet and asked for the best restaurants. On the list was Isshinsushi Koyo. I put the address into the GPS system in the car and just followed. We got there at 5:00pm opening time.

The sushi restaurant looked lovely:

We sat at a table and looked at the menu.  It showed a full course at $420.00 per person. I was a little shocked.  Instead of taking the full course, we ordered some toro, tuna,

It was absolutely wonderful.  Only in Japan can you find such great fish and tempora (lightly breaded fried vegetables.)

When done correctly, and it was here, it is superb.

Dessert was ice cream with chestnut flakes.  Also, wonderful.

We were lucky.

Well, the food was great. And I was very pleased that we came, but I was apprehensive about what they would charge us. I gave them my credit card and was surprisingly charged $160.00.  I was very pleased and relieved.

Look, the best is not cheap, and I am grateful I could afford it.
