Are you human?

Not being facetious, but almost everyone I meet is totally locked into their habits, their patterns, and it is almost impossible to break free. Around 35% of Americans are obese and we are hooked on sugar, wheat, drugs, smoking, alcohol, etc. We know what is good for us and we know what is bad for us but we find it almost impossible to change.

I have been focusing a lot of my attention on health care and discovered no to long ago that 50% of doctors are "burned out."  We depend on doctors to keep us healthy and they are struggling.  Why? To me it is simple.  They are attached to the results and many people going for help are killed - 450,000 are claimed to be killed from medical error each year. The doctors feel responsible and it puts enormous pressure on them. They do need to train and delegate others to share their burden; they should all learn how to meditate and they should continue to work their "tails off," but leave the responsibility to the divine.

When a person is healed, they say"I did it." When the person dies they say, "God's will." They say it but they don't believe it. Look, also check lists will help and a drastic change in the total health care system is necessary. Study the airline industry which rarely has fatalities.

Recognize those habits that keep you in chains and look for ways to be free.  I do like the Harada Method as it gets us to look at our habits and to come up with new routines to replace them.  Also, it gets you to pick a strong goal to motivate you to continuously improve.
