A Japanese Toilet

Since 1979, I have been to Japan 93 times looking to bring to the West the best information available on how to improve productivity and quality.  I have visited 250 Japanese manufacturing plants, meeting many of the management masters and publishing over 100 Japanese books in English, including the work of the co-creators of the Toyota Production System (Just-In-Time or Lean.): Taiichi Ohno and Dr. Shigeo Shingo.

In these past 40 years, fortunately I discovered many amazing things to bring to the West. On my first  trip, not speaking or reading Japanese, it was very difficult for me to get around. I was able fortunately to get on a train to Kyoto, the treasured city and former capital of Japan with over 1000 temples. When arriving in Kyoto, I had to go to the bathroom and was troubled because I could not use the most typical Japanese squat toilet.

I left the train station and went to the closest hotel and saw this.

This was a a problem for me for I could not squat.

Most fortunately in the next room was this:

A Japanese "shower" toilet.

First the seat is warm. Secondly, there is water to spray to cleanse
your bottom. Also, heat comes out to gently dry your bottom.

It is a miracle of modern science and available for us in America.

Yes, it does cost a little bit more money from the traditional ones bought here but well worth the difference.

Take my advice and buy one and it will change your life for the better.
