A year ago, we met this lady at a concert in Kirishima who owns the largest tea plantation in southern Kyushu specializing in organic tea. She invited us to lunch at her estate. It was close to the best lunch ever tasted. I ate herbs and vegetables that I never heard about before, absolutely delicious. We tasted and bought her teas, all great. One particular tea is just the top of the bush, gently picked them crushed for eight hours by hand. It was the most delicate tea I ever had and afterwards we ate the tea leaves. I am just so grateful to continually find such wonderful things.
